ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Shona McNeill has always believed in giving back to the community and beyond. She is a qualified grief counsellor and support coach and volunteers her spare time helping people in need.
In lock down she wrote two children's books, 'Little Ruby's Big Adventure' and 'Ruby Teaches Kindness' as a way of giving back and just in time for World Kindness Day on 13 November!
Shona was nominated for Australian of the Year in 2009 for her work in connection to helping children and people around the world.
Shona has volunteered numerous times throughout Ethiopia, Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, London and often volunteers at the Royal Children's Hospital spreading kindness through her writing and supporting people in need of a friend.

Ruby Teaches Kindness is a delightful children's picture book aimed at children aged 3-7 about Ruby the penguin teaching children how to share and care! Ruby is making the world a wonderful place through acts of kindness. Ruby teaches the importance of understanding, sharing, inclusion, making a difference, making friends and having fun.
