WORKING WITH ME
My personal approach to Coaching & Counselling is based on some of the following modalities:

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness Therapy, supporting people to enter the present moment more fully especially in areas of life that is out of their control and to guide them with a variety of step by step techniques towards positive change which is designed to enrich their lives.

Cognitive behavioural (CBT) - CBT supports people to take steps towards a change in unwanted and unhealthy behaviours, techniques used involves efforts to change thinking patterns.

Solution focused Therapy (SFT) - SFBT is a form of therapy that focuses on solutions instead of on the problems, empowering the person towards enhancing their own lives.

Coaching - Supporting clients to a clear pathway forward by providing Coaching Support and teaching relevant skills, tactics and techniques.

Mindfulness techniques can at times be used in cases of anxiety and depression.

MY BACKGROUND

MY WORK IN AFRICA
I have volunteered over the years in Ethiopia, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, Uganda and Kenya, helping people and children obtain food, education, eyesight and much more, this work has helped build compassion and develop a deep understanding of the difficulties people deal with in everyday life. Counselling and coaching are all part of where my passion lies, it always has and always will.
